Indirect Object Pronouns
Le lo Se lo
In Spanish,
if two object pronouns,
beginning with -
l
appear
side by side, the first one
(indirect object pronoun)
is changed to -
se.
Masculine
Eva buys him the tomato. Eva buys him it.
Eva le lo compra. Eva se lo compra.
Feminine
Eva buys him the pear. Eva buys him it.
Eva le la compra. Eva se la compra.
Plural
Eva buys them the pear. Eva buys them it.
Eva les la compra. Eva se la compra.
Infinitives
Eva wants to buy them the pear. Eva wants to buy them it.
Eva quiere comprárlesla. Eva quiere comprársela.

Spanish. When le and lo appear side by side, you change the le to se
(relelo tireselo). This holds true for les as well (tirarleslo tirarselo).
Do not use two “l” pronouns together.
