The verbs
hacer

llevar
are used
to express time or duration:
Hace un mes que llegué.
Present tense
:
Hace un mes que trabajo aquí.
Present tense:
Llevo un mes trabajando aquí.
Imperfect tense
:
Hacía un mes que trabajaba ahí.
Ago:
Hacer - Llevar:
I arrived one month ago.
(It makes one month that I arrived.)
I have worked here for one month.
(It makes a month that I work here.)
I have been working here for one month.
(I carry a month working here.)
I had been working there for one month.
(It made a month that I was working there.)
